I am a self-taught artist. I am my own subject and muse. When I paint, often faces and figures emerge, they appear in response to the outside influences on me. I pour my feelings onto the substrate by creating heavy textures, deep marks (have created a rip or two in the substrate during that process), fluid lines, sharp and faded outlines. I normally mix my paints on the substrate creating striking and vivid marks of my fingers, paint brush or a palette knife on it and each mark, has a story to tell.
