The asuras and devas churned the ocean of milk in a desperate attempt to wrest immortality. They continue to do so today. Inside us. Striving to assert the Self. An epic struggle that spews poison that has no Shiva to consume it. No Shiva to keep us safe. We need to become our own Shivas. In reflexivity. In dispassionate awareness. Watching the selves within us in dialogue. With each other. Selves that we have taken on out of fear. For a false sense of security. Have had thrust upon us to make us conform. To become bricks in the wall. So, we must churn. Endlessly. Relentlessly. Till eternity consumes us.
