This is part of my mini series “lost and found”
Immersing myself in the now. With closed eyes and an open mind. Waiting to see what images turn up for me. Pondering, reflecting, questioning. Why was I being so hard on myself? Why was there an urgency to prove myself? Why did I forget the joy I felt when I was creating for myself? Why did I allow myself to be in this position? So many whys! I was able to answer few questions. The patterns were visible. The knots were untying. Still more to go, it is always work in progress. Unravelling itself slowly.
This is the last painting in my mini-series ‘lost and found’. It was an interesting series for me as I revisited my journal and memories by creating 12 pieces of art from my 2020 burnout experience.
The artwork is set-up on a white mountboard; all you need to do is put it behind a non-reflective glass with a wooden frame of your choice.
